Scenario

Option A: Based on the analysis completed by a task force at Cosmo, Inc., the marketing department must develop, implement, and test a new marketing campaign focused on maintaining current customer levels and increasing their customer base through the utilization of new technology. - List deliverables to be performed and not performed as part of this project. Indicate constraint(s), dependencies, assumptions, and mitigation strategies.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Develop a work breakdown schedule. This includes an introduction and graphical representation of the totality of work identified in the Project Scope. Note: You may create graphical examples in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Visio and save as a .jpeg picture to be inserted into your plan.

Provide an introduction to the project plan. The introduction should include a sentence or two about all of the major aspects of the project. (The below categories for an introduction were taken from an open-source document provided through Project Management Institute (PMI), ensuring real-world applicability.) Write a sentence or two on each of the following topics.

Purpose: State the purpose of the project plan. Indicate in a short statement that the plan will provide a definition of the project, including the business goals and objectives. You are free to use other templates, tools, or formats to convey the requirements outlined within the Final Project Part I Document as long as you satisfy the rubric requirements.

Create a schedule for the project using your task time estimates and the dependencies you identified. In industry practice it is common to use a Gantt chart to capture this information. A sample document and template has been provided for this section entitled “Gantt Template.” You are free to use other templates, tools, or formats to convey the requirements outlined within the Final Project Part I Document as long as you satisfy the rubric requirements.

Note: For your final submission, you will submit a complete project management plan using this form. All feedback received on milestones should be evaluated and incorporated as necessary.
